Short and premium .dash names are not first-come-first-served:
masternodes vote on them for two weeks. Here is what is being voted on right
now, and what has already been decided.
A name goes to a vote when it matches ^[a-zA-Z01-]{3,19}$ — the
rule in the DPNS contract itself. So 3 to 19 characters of letters,
0, 1 and hyphens: coffee-shop is
contested, hello2you is not, because any other digit takes a
name out of it.
A claim is on chain the moment it is made, but the name resolves to nobody until the vote ends.
Won by an identity, or locked — a lock means the votes went against every contender, and nobody can ever claim that name.
